Isokummun Wool Mulch Mat is made of 100% Finnish, washed, and carded wool. The product has been tested as an organic mulch and has received approval from inspectors. The Wool Mulch Mat is made from wool waste from the yarn spinning process and is also suitable for organic farming.
The Wool Mulch Mat consists of approximately 10 layers and can be modified by cutting or tearing, for example, to fit on top of flower pots, flower beds, or vegetable gardens.
Uses for the Wool Mulch Mat:
  
For seed germination: Place the wool over the soil and seeds. Some seeds may require additional soil coverage.
  
To improve water management: The wool retains and maintains moisture, and it also protects delicate seedlings from damage.
  
To prevent slugs from moving into plant areas.
  
As drainage at the bottom of pots.
  
To protect plants with uncertain winter hardiness during autumn.
Instructions for use:Spread the Wool Mulch Mat on the flower bed or vegetable garden and secure it with stakes.
The Wool Mulch Mat can be used multiple times or can be mixed into the soil as a soil conditioner. The wool can also be composted.
