Your wishes have been heard, so the wool sock people will finally get wool sock yarn from us. In the summer, we started a collaboration with the Rajala sheep farm, Kaarin Knuuttila, using wool from their Texel sheep. The wool is slightly coarser than Finnsheep, so it can withstand even harder wear. The yarn manufacturing method is of course the same as in our own yarns, meaning the yarn is 100% wool and the process is gentle and non-toxic, and enough lanolin is left on the surface to ensure softness. We test knitted the first socks in the summer and wore them for a few months with excellent results. The socks will last.
